Knowledge for Children is a Cameroon-Dutch based NGO, that believes knowledge is the key to a promising future for children in developing countries. This is why Knowledge for Children invests in education for these children. Given that nothing is as instructive, and has such educational potential as a schooltextbook, we do this by the implementation of schoolbook projects. During our textbook projects in recent years, we have in a balanced manner provided 53 rural primaryschools with textbooks.

The Metta Center(MC) is a non-governmental social organization for the total development of a child. We are working towards creating a just society by providing an equal opportunity for all. It is located in Banepa, a rural mountain village about 30 km east of the capital city Kathmandu. The MC provides free housing to orphan girls. The MC also provides free education and training to the orphaned girls, as well as, to impoverished woman living in village.

The Department for International Development (DFID) is the part of the UK Government that manages Britain's aid to poor countries and works to get rid of extreme poverty. DFID's values define the way in which we intend to live up to our strategic aim of halving world poverty by the year 2015.

Education, Language and Development Training Programmes provides practical training and consultancy services to development organisations in South and South-East Asia. Registered as a charity in the United Kingdom, but based in Kathmandu, Nepal and Bangkok, Thailand, ELD conducts regular open training workshops in areas such as Reporting Skills, Project Management and PM&E, as well as a range of in-house assignments which include training, planning, proposal development, teambuilding, project close-out and outplacement.
